Ed is the creative lead at Broken Open Productions, combining hands-on industry experience with a calm, people-first approach to video.

With over 10 years’ experience as a carpenter, Ed has a strong understanding of construction sites, safety and workflow, making him especially well-suited to projects across construction, trades and mining. He is also a CASA-certified drone pilot, fully insured, and experienced filming across active job sites, events, tourism locations and residential spaces.

Ed holds a real estate licence, giving him a strong sense of professionalism and discretion when filming in people’s homes. He is known for being easy to work with and for helping people feel comfortable and natural on camera, even if it’s their first time.

With an additional background in music and live events, Ed is comfortable in fast-paced environments and knows how to adapt quickly to capture the moments that matter.
